For our class, I made a PowerPoint video using Camtasia Studio 6. The PowerPoint I used is one that I made that briefly discusses the story of the USS Sculpin, a World War II U.S. Submarine.Here is a website that has more information.

Very cool!!! I love history and hearing about true stories. I think that all kids should talk to their relatives about the history they have experienced in their lives. That is truly a first had experience of history and it is part of their family history.

ReplyDeleteIt's so try what Todd says. I can think of an instance just this week where I said to myself, "I wish I would have asked my great grandmother this before she passed away." I think oral histories are very important for learning about and preserving our culture/history.
